All non-licensable materials can be removed by ABC Demolition Group Operatives who have received removal and awareness training. We can provide Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos surveys, licenced removal and disposal via our accredited and HSE licenced sub-contractors. We ensure that all removal and disposal works are carried out in line with the HSE guidelines. The asbestos removed will be disposed of at a registered disposal site and a consignment note will be provided which gives confirmation for the disposal of hazardous waste.

A Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos survey is necessary before any refurbishment or demolition work is carried out. This type of survey is used to locate and describe, as far as reasonably practicable, all asbestos containing materials in the area where refurbishment or demolition work will take place. A report is produced with results of all materials sampled or presumed to contain asbestos, a full list and description of all areas inspected, annotated plans and conclusions.

Our large excavators are fitted with pulverizer and shear attachments enabling us to demolish large steel and concrete structures with ease. We can also undertake hand demolition where the project demands complex removal rather than mechanical demolition. ABC dismantles structures for reclamation/re-use, identified assets will be dismantled utilising a planned deconstruction process. This is far more beneficial to the environment and can save on costs if materials are being re-used.

We can undertake soft strip to suit your requirements. Our skilled operatives will remove all non-structural elements to facilitate demolition or refurbishment of the building. Materials will be sorted during the process and either stored for re-use, or recycled at a designated waste transfer station allowing us to divert the waste from landfill. As part of a refurbishment project structural alterations can be carried out after the soft strip works have been completed.

Once contamination has been identified and quantities determined, ABC will remove the contaminated materials from site. Utilising our extensive plant and machinery the site will be excavated and licenced hauliers will remove the contaminated soil for disposal. Disposal will be in line with current legislation and full supporting waste documentation will be provided.

We offer a complete site clearance service ensuring that the site is prepared ready for the next stage of development. Utilising both manual and mechanical plant our experience operatives can remove a variety of materials. All waste will be segregated and taken to a recycling facility, allowing us to divert waste from landfill. We aim to recycle over 95% of all demolition arisings.
