Below are some recent projects we have completed throughout the UK, for public and private clients across a number of sectors: residential, commercial, education, healthcare, retail & leisure.
Golden Square
Client:Vascroft Contractors Ltd.
Description: Strip out and demolition of main building from level 5 to level 8.
Demolition of 2-storey building and demolition of all basements.
Methodology: The buildings were initially soft stripped of all fixtures and fittings, demolition was carried out to external walls to Light well and Beak St elevation. Column cladding was stripped out for the installation of temporary bracing. The 2-storey building and all basements were demolished. The main building was demolished from 5th floor to 8th floor inclusive. The lifts were removed and all the staircases demolished. All arising were cleared from site.
Temple Cowley Pools
Client: Catalyst Housing
Description: Demolition of swimming pool/Leisure Centre complex and water tower. Predominately reinforced concrete structure.
Methodology: The buildings were initially soft stripped of all fittings and fixtures. The buildings were demolished down to ground level. The water tower was demolished.
The ground floor slab and all structures below ground level were broken out. All hard core and concrete was crushed and the swimming pools were back filled to reinstate them to ground level. All remaining arisings were cleared from site.
Mansell St
Client: Marldon
Description: Scaffold protection to all elevations, demolition of 5 storey building plus basement; brick, steel, timber and reinforced concrete building.
Methodology: The former offices were initially soft stripped of all fittings and fixtures.
The Mansard Roof, outer walls and staircases were removed and the building was reduced down to ground floor level retaining the existing basement level. The site was tidied and levelled, with all arising materials being removed from site.
Gt Eastern St
Client: Vascroft Contractors
Description: Asbestos Removal, Demolition of Brick Built Former Hotel and Offices with Basement, demolition of 3 Storey Building in Ravey Street and site clearance.
Methodology: Asbestos removal, demolition of Building on Ravey Street, Breakout and Propping of Concrete Structure Junction Great Eastern Street/Ravey Street, demolition of Great Eastern Street Hotel and other buildings fronting Great Eastern Street, all concrete and hard core were crushed for a piling mat and stockpiled. All arising materials were cleared from site.
Camden High St
Client: Bennett Construction
Description: Asbestos removal, Demolition of traditional brick built buildings 2 and 3 storeys high and retention of Party Wall.
Methodology: Façade Retention of Party Wall between 165-167 Camden High Street.
Demolition of Buildings No. 159-165 Camden High Street. Breaking out of concrete floors and foundations and site clearance.
Frimley Park Hospital
Client: Bugler Developments
Description: Demolition of traditional brick built building, formerly a Children's Hospital.
Methodology: Asbestos was removed, the building was initially soft stripped of all fittings and fixtures. The building was demolished including the foundations and hardstanding areas were broken out. All arising were cleared from site.
